i went in to my local lnt to pick up the toaster oven. they had about a million of em stacked in a pyramid near the entrance. however, unlike the one pictured on the website, it is not self cleaning. bummer.

lnt usually puts those 20% coupons in the newspaper. i couldn't find one, but luckily for me they also accept competitors coupons up to 60 days after they expire, so i just used an old bed bath beyond coupon i had lying around.

good deal for $5. it'll come in handy around the dorm.

also, according to the cashier, there's no limit on how many rebates you can send in.

this black & decker model is made in black, but i'm not sure LNT is selling those. if you need another color, i think the best thing would probably be to call LNT (866-568-7378) or visit your local LNT store to see if they have other colors in stock :D
 
the toaster oven i got was white, unlike the pictured black one. this model doesn't come in stainless steel. i was also planning on getting the blender but the amazon reviews basically revealed that the thing's a piece of crap.
 
Well, I just ordered the toaster oven so it is still available online. I elected to pick it up at our local store, but it said it was available for shipping also (before I even put in my zip code so it wasn't checking some local warehouse/store). For $5 I figure what the heck as I've been wanting a little oven for wings and such so I don't have to heat up the big oven every day. At least a few of the Amazon reviews thought it was ok. I guess they are the ones that didn't break.
 
The Coffee Maker is white. Didn't see in any color but for 5 bucks its a steal. Especially better than those Gevalia ones ;-) Couldn't find the Iron's or the Coffeemaker details on the B&D website. So definitely discontinued models, I'd say.
 
I actually got the Black and Decker toaster oven on the same deal a few years ago and it works great...I have no complaints...Toasts, bakes and broils...

yup, they're great for mini pizzas and other small items you want to heat up quickly & make crispy (microwaves just don't cut it, even with that little grey disk they give you with some packaged food items. and using an oven to heat up a mini pizza is just wasteful =P )

btw, the rebate form doesn't specify a limit on the number of items, so it looks like you can purchase one, or more, of each item. Also, the coupon code 895900000000 should be good for 20% off your Entire purchase (expires 8/28/05).

In case any of you were thinking of getting more than one.

The rebate form is good for $20.00 period. Whether you purchase one item or all four items the total rebate is $20.00... Read the rebate form carefully.
Also the extra discount is for the first item only.

also, if you call the 1-800 number on the rebate form (1-800-992-5263), they can confirm that there is no limit on number of products for this rebate.

I am confused over the rebate form. Is it $20 rebate for each time or $20 for all items if we apply on the same rebate? I dont want to risk it applying together.
 
Our local LNT has tons of all of the Black and Decker appliances stacked up for this promotion so try going to your local store

From what I've gathered from reading the rebate coupon, it doesn't say only one per household, therefore you can use your roommate/spouse/pet for submission. Am I right here?
