I'm pretty sure you can get the same item at Amazon.com for $36.48 shipped, at least when shipped to San Diego. Also, I'm not sure you factored tax into the equation. I did end up buying the item on MacMall and the total was $42.45. :sad:

Next time I will search for a better price before I go buying what's just been posted. Hopefully I can cancel easily.
 
oreodoh, some retailers charge tax in states where they have a local presence depending on local law. It really is next-to-impossible to determine if an item will have a tax in your area without actually going through the purchase process and entering your zip code. I hope this helps.

Thanks, that does help. I see from their web site that MacMall has retail stores in CA and TN. I will point out though that even if MacMall didn't charge sales tax their price is still a few bucks higher than Amazon's.

So for anyone who doesn't have to pay sales tax when purchasing items from Amazon (Washingtonians maybe?), this does not represent the best deal out there.

I rated this as a "Good" deal - but couldn't give it higher since I could find the product for cheaper.
