I must admit that I am a little nervous about this. Some of the Amazon reviews were less than flattering.
 
I bought this one when it was at TigerDirect and have been very happy with it. It was not as good as my 880, but then again it was about $115 less than the 880.
 
harrkev: what negative reviews did you find disturbing? are you referring to the reviews commenting on the poor mechanical design and how the buttons do not work anymore
 
Viewsonic remote

I bought a similar Harmony remote - H659. Anyone that bought the $500 Viewsonic N3251w, or any Viewsonic TV as far as I know, and wants an inexpensive remote to control the TV and any other component - DirecTV DVR (R-15), DVD, etc., should buy this one. Viewsonics codes are somewhat unique, my DirecTV remote (and a few other universals I tried) would not recognize it.

Best bang for the buck. Plug the remote in to a USB port, go online to the Logitech web site, input which brand and model number of the equipment you have and let the online programming do the rest.

I just checked Amazon and it's showing a price of $59 now..

Yep. Amazon is up to 59.99.

Ive never used this model of Harmony remote, but I did splurge on the 880. I returned it a week later and will not ever buy another Harmony remote.
