Logitech Z-5500 5.1 Speaker System for $219.99 Shipped

How are these speakers compared to the Klipsch ProMedia 5.1 Ultra's? I currently have the ProMedia 4.1's and am thinking about upgrading. Opinons Please...... ;)
 
Yep, I've got a set of these from amazon.com for about the same price with free shipping a while ago. It kicks ass for movies and games...not for the kind of person that wants precision cuz it's quite boomy and lacks midrange.

These sets have always been around this price of a while now so I don't think the price will drop any lower than this, although I've seen it for $180 for a split second on dell....I called and they denied it but some early birds got it.
 
I bought these speakers a few weeks ago. They sound ok, then i bought an optical cable to use on my xbox. HOLY CRAP, movies, games and even cd's sound sooo good. I dont know what the klipsch 5.1 system sound like but this blows both the z-5300e and the klipsch 2.1 speakers away. I bought the z-5300e from frys about 2 weeks before i got these, it turns out thet amazon had these for the same price i paid at frys. Would i recommend these? any day of the week. And the price is half of what the retail price is. :bigok:
 
I had the 4.1 promedias before i upgraded, it's worth the upgrade if you want a boomier bass. I'd install those 4.1s to a TV with the RCA to minijack converter after you upgrade.
