Take this freebie thread however you want, if it's not for you, just pass...

=====================================================

Thank you for your generous gift to the American Red Cross 2005 Hurricane Relief Fund. This fund makes it possible for the Red Cross to help nationwide Hurricane disaster victims of 2005 with critical needs such as shelter, food, clothing, counseling and other assistance. It's because of the 2005 Hurricane Relief Fund that our response can be immediate regardless of its location or the community’s ability to financially support our efforts.

FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) and Give.org (part of the BBB) also lists several other ones. Sorry choo for the duplicates:

Ellen DeGeneres/Warner Bros will match your Red Cross donation - Hurricane Katrina

Hello people,

Everyone here is looking for deals, right? Well here is a deal that will make your cash donation go farther. If you were going to donate to the Red Cross anyway you should consider this.

Go to Ellen's Website here
http://ellen.warnerbros.com/showinfo/hurricane.html

and Warner Brothers will match the donations that people like us make, up to a $500,000 match (they are already donating $500,000, but with this they will potentially donate $1.5 million). You are still donating directly to the Red Cross, but linking through Ellen's site will allow WB to match your donation.

We all make our money work for us to get deals, why not make our money work for us for charity and to help all of those people on the Gulf Coast!

Or you could donate the money directly to me!

Actually, I suggest that you donate to the shelters, food banks, etc that are local to the people who need the help. The Red Cross has so much overhead that maybe only half of your donation actually goes to the people who need it. I have nothing to back this claim up, but logically, it make sense.

Watch MNF tonight to donate. I hope lots of people do so. I plan on it.

Brian Wilson, From the Beach Boys Decides to Call Up Anyone Who Donates $100 to Katrina Victims Through His Web Site

http://www.brianwilson.com

Here's my challenge, for anyone who sends Jerry a donation of $100.00 or more, I will call you personally and answer a question that you may have, or just say hello or whatever. Also, my wife and I will match the donation. I know that this may not work for all of you, but anything that you can afford will help and I will match it.
