So yesterday morning, the road which I usually get to work on was closed with police and blocking off the area.. I didn't think much of it because nothing really happens where I work. But I read the news this morning and it turns out an Officer Shot and killed a knife wielding man at a motel 6 that was on the corner.
TASER STUN GUN FAILS TO STOP KNIFE-WIELDER

A Campbell police officer shot and killed a knife-wielding man at a motel Wednesday night after a stun gun failed to stop the advancing man, the police department said.
Police said officers were called to the Motel 6 at Camden and Curtner avenues about 10:40 p.m. Steven Loren Fountain, 24, was reportedly standing on a balcony and screaming that someone was in his room.
Officer Brian Sessions was first to arrive. He saw Fountain standing on the balcony and ordered him repeatedly to drop the knife, according to a statement by Capt. Russ Patterson. Fountain advanced toward Sessions, who fired his Taser, hoping the electric charge would temporarily disable Fountain. It didn't.
When Fountain came at the officer again, he fired his handgun, Patterson said. Fountain was taken to a hospital, but he died while being treated.
``Clearly the way he was acting speaks to some type of agitation, whether it was chemically induced or something else,'' Patterson said. A toxicology report is pending.
No one was found in Fountain's motel room, according to police.
Geez... First the ducks getting run over at the carwash.. and now this... Maybe I should find a different job. :thumbs_do
