I just got an e-mail from Marie Claire about testing a depilatory product. Had to e-mail my name and address to:

[email protected]

Don't know if you will be considered if you did not get the e-mail, as they mentioned that I had been selected. After testing the product, you will be required to complete a short survey. You will also be entered into a sweepstakes to receive one of 25 prizes.

Just a heads up to check your e-mails if you are a Velvet Rope member.

Update: Got an e-mail w/attached consent form to be filled out, witnessed and mailed in. Looks like the product is Veet.

got the email, and sent them a message back with my info, now it says I have to print and sign a release form and mail it in..I don't have a printer, So I asked if there was another way. thanks for the heads up pat
 
Did Marie Claire assign panelist id numbers? I don't recall getting a number. My panelist id has always been my email address.
 
guess you gotta sign the release form first.

Those Velvet Rope Club members who send in the form while supplies last will receive their samples in the mail shortly. As always, your opinion is important us, and we would love to have your feedback. In September, we will send you an email asking you to take a short survey about the Veet sample. As a thank you for your time, you will be entered to win one of 25 special gifts from Marie Claire.

I am having problems opening the the form that they sent. Does anyone have it saved as word document.

I just left that blank on the form and mailed mine in tonight. I was having my oil changed (free from Lexus) and just made my salesman witness my signature! I ask them to do a lot of stuff when I go there. They are really nice at Lexus.

Nico2317: I can't do it today, but maybe I can have my husband help me tomorrow night (get you the form). I just barely figured out how to get it myself. Finally saw an identifier on the bottom bar and then clicked on that. Form opened and I was able to print it. I have no idea where it is now! But if I had to find it, I'd go to my documents on my desktop and start there. Don't know if any of those suggestions will help you. Someone more experienced --help her out.
 
Wow, I really need to get a new printer (or fix mine!). This is SO getting old. :(

I'd also like the link to join this if anyone has it or knows what it is.

I believe they have closed the club for new applicants - I signed up several months ago but I can't locate any links now....

I thought I sent a link, but I guess it didn't work, sorry, My printer is broke, too so I emailed the guy and asked if there was another way I could sign my release, but no answer yet.
 
I mailed the consent form off today without the panel id number. :bigok: I don't remember them ever giving me one. :noidea:
