McDonald's - 49 cent Hamburger / 59 cent Cheeseburger - YMMV

McDonald's is offering 49 cent hamburgers and 59 cent cheeseburgers.

Limit 10 per person

- Store Locator
- It might be worth calling your local McDonald's to make sure they have this offer

is this really a good deal?

If you consider a double cheeseburger is only 99 cents then a single one for 59 does not seem like a great deal to me...

Just for fun though... I am going to try and buy 11 cheeseburgers.... LOL

good point about the double cheeseburger but I have heard that due to rising food and transportation costs, the days of the "dollar" menus may be numbered!

the local BurgerKing had their cheeseburgers for sale for 39 cents 2 years back, their hamburgers were 1.19 though... so I ordered 5 cheeseburgers withouth the cheese ;)
After looking puzzled for a while they gave them to me

Dammit. I'm dieting too. Maybe on my "off" day. (^.~)

Anyone remember Taco bell Tuesdays and/or Sundays? 49 cent tacos FTW!!

Maybe not everywhere...

I just called the McDonalds here and was told that they had not heard of such, so it isn't necessarily in every market.

I'm McLovin-it!

Yo!

That is just freaking HILARIOUS!!!!

:claps:

And we as americans wonder why we are over weight, oh well im in for 10 as well :)

The walk to mcdonalds is almost a mile! Justifies eating them!

I actually feel the cheeseburger price is justified compared to the double cheeseburger. The double version has too much meat and only the top and bottom part of the bun. With the scaled back version, you get double the bread.

The double's the better deal - and less calories then buying two singles.

Why? Add in the extra bun and you double the calories of the bread from 100 calories to 200 calories.

I'll keep buying the doubles off the dollar menu.

And regarding the Burger King - Cheeseburger vs. Hamburger Sale -

I did that one too - I told the clerk I was allergic to milk products and she didn't flinch at all, just rang up the order as usual. But I wonder what the so called cooks thought in the back ......

Anyone know if there is a specific date / date range for this one?

yeh, sure would like to have a confirmed date (or verified link) before heading over to McDs.

Gonna go check it out and ask. Thanks for the post.

Just got back from McD's in Myrtle Beach, SC, and they had never heard of this. Said they don't do those kinds of promotions in the Summer. Anyway, still had my free Southern Style Chicken coupon so I'm good...

Do you have a source spoofee? I'd hate to ask my wife to go out there to pick a few up and have her be turned down.

I remember about 5 or 6 years ago, the McDonald's near my house had a cheeseburger sale like that.

But they would NOT let me buy a cheeseburger w/o cheese!
