Were you going to the republican rally, and took the wrong turn?

Don't feel bad, you're not alone, our country is doing the same

There is plenty of video and pics on the internet of the rally. Here is a clip from youtube.

My shirt gets alot more airtime then anything, but once it starts raining, you see alot of me, even biting my nails at one point.

Didn't I see you in 'Taxi Driver'?

I would not be broadcasting that "You talking to me?" pose was you because if something "happens" to HRC, the Secret Service will be looking you up.

 You are a Guy! :faint:

Everyone is a f'in comedian. Did u do anything yesterday that got you on TV?

I could, it wouldn't be hard.:noidea:...but I'd probably be arrested real quick.....LOL

As for standing behind Hillary.....kudos for you....but I would've worn a bullet proof vest and some hip boots....;)

Thank you precocious. My point wasn't that I got on TV, but that I was out supporting my political party, and being on stage was something special.

How did you get onstage in the first place? I would think you would have to be like first in line or pass some type of security check or something, so how did you end up pulling that off? Is it like a free for all, everyone hits the door and runs, or how did that work? I am just picturing in my mind you hitting the door and flat sprinting to the stage, LOL, I have a warped mind, but really, how did you get there?

I figured someone would ask. The answer is being in the right place at the right time. I didn't even have a tix for event, so I was standing outside the gate. I was approached by a Clinton staffer, who asked me if I'd like to be on stage while Hillary spoke. I asked how long I'd be up there for, she said 1 hour, so I jumped at opportunity. I was also completely amazed at how many secret service there were, but nobody asked me for ID or frisked me at any point. I definately thought security woulda been much tighter, but I guess they know what they're doing.

I woulda thought the same thing, but this wasn't a fund raising event, it was a get out and vote event. Early voting started yesterday in fla.

*ahem* Where's your rep to show it? :sus:

Again, Kudos on the TV gig.....but I still think your support is misplaced....:p

A little birdy tells me Fla will vote republican again this election. :convinced:

So awesome that you got in there. That is one of those once in a lifetime things.

There was a story on NPR years ago about a guy who was a member of some disheveled, though harmless, anti-government group. The event was going to have President George HW Bush (the first one... and acting president at the time) speaking. So this guy and a couple from the group managed to get in and found it bizarrely easy to get upgraded media passes, to the point that this nobody group (Jeff Gannonish like), had one of them in the tent where George HW Bush was going to speak. They then had this 'awesome' plan about how he was going to rant and say stuff.

It was 'awesome' because once the press conference started and the guy made with his display, President George HW Bush put him in his place (as only a competent President could). Pres. Bush pretty much gave the guy the floor and asked him his standing. The guy was speechless, totally unprepared. Most humbling experience of his life.

Moral of the story, don't be a moron when dealing with intelligent people, especially when you get to be near them!
