eek so if i dont have a car i can't get in on this deaL?

Price Matching takes a lot of guts to do it correctly...and can be a hassle, but it does work sometimes...

do i have to buy it online then pick it up in the store ??
can i go to the store and just buy it ?

what about a bicycle ? :)

p o box

I'm showing 2 different model numbers, that will stop a price match, also Staples said, "Special Buy", which usually stops a price match.

For "jessicat", you can't use a P. O. Box for rebates.

Got mine today

Just got back from CC with mine. No problems with price matching the Staples ad. Great deal!

i suppose i'll fill one out for the new address & one for the old.

I did it today and it works great. Do not order it online for store pickup. Go to the store and buy it after you buy it walk over to customer service and get the price match. If you order it online for store pick up you will be picking up your stick at the customer service area the same area you have to ask for a price match. GREAT DEAL

:claps: My first successful pricematch! This is an awesome deal considering the capacity and quality of the media. Not to mention a cool blue light on the end of the stick! :)

Thanks :spoofee: !

Thanks for posting this great deal!

Went to CC, bought it, went in CS line to PM. Mgr says Staples number is different then the one on package at CC, "Let's go on the web and see what the difference is," he says.

Go to Staples site, the difference in the number is the one in the Staples ad seems to be THEIR item number, but it shows the models as being the same number.

Got my PM and out the door, a happy camper went :D :bigok:

wait can some one explain to me how i should do this ? i am totally confused

is it

The Price At CC is $64.99 (MSRP) - $5.00 ( Instant Savings ) = $ 59.99

I Find The Item In The Store and Take it the the register to buy it and i pay $ 59.99 ( CC Price ) .

Then I take the drive with my staples print out and my receipt to the Customer Service Desk - $29.94 ( Staples Price After Price Match ) = $ 30.05. ( But Dont they mark anything on the receipt or change it around ??)

So this Means when I Walk Out Of The Store Technacally i only paid $ 29.94

Then $ 29.94 - $35.00 ( The CC Mail In Rebates ) = $ 5.06

Is this The right way or doing it ? Did i do something wrong in my math or do u only make $ 5.06

Prepare to argue for it.

You pay $59.99 + tax at CC

When you walk to the CS at CC, show them Staples add with price of $29.99 after INSTANT rebate. Argue that the rebate is instant at the register, so effectively the price is $29.99 at Staples. They should match it. If not, ask to speak with the manager. That usually does the trick. They should refund you $33.00 + tax (110% of the difference between their price and Staples)

Good Luck

I've gone and just showed the ad straight up, no biggie, they've PM'ed it just the same. Just had to go to CS. If they say anything about the rebate and don't give it to you, like I had one time with OD because they realized it was going to be free, no biggie there either, just print it out from their website (which is what I did at OD).

Good luck!:D
