Hello everyone,

I'm looking for some suggestions on Micro ATX Cases. I would prefer a mid-tower that can handle two 5 1/4" drives, at least space for two 3 1/2" hard drives, an a 3.5" floppy drive. No power supply is needed, I already have one. It's been a while since I have built a new machine so I'm not sure what brands and such are the tops ones. Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks,

I would recommend this case above and beyond! I've built a lot of systems, and this case is by far of the nicest quality, VERY cool (temperature-wise), comes with 4 silent fans, has removal MOBO tray, all-aluminum! I know it's a bit bigger than you wanted, but still mid tower and is absolutely awesome. I would contiue buying these cases until they stop making them (God forbid!) Look into it, buddy! You won't regret it :bigok:

The only downside is that this case doesn't support micro ATX mobo's. It only supports ATX mobo's. :(

Interesting, I did some research and found out that the micro ATX is backwards compatible with the standard ATX design so if this correct then the case would work. Most of the cases I have read reviews on specifically state that they are ATX and micro ATX compatible, which this case only states it's ATX compatible.

I went to the manufactures site and looked at the FAQ for the case, it does state that it will work with a micro ATX board. Sweet....

gr8nrg,

I went ahead and got the case and such for the system I'm building. I do have to say it is a nice case. The Ultra PSU I got from here FAR was a very tight fit, but it did go in. I can't wait to get the rest of the parts so I can get this bad boy going. :D

I'm glad you went for the case. See, told you won't be disappointed! My ULTRA PSU had a very tight fit also. But, as long as you connect the wires before screwing the PSU in, all is well. Enjoy your case experience! :)
