Anyone else receiving faxes in the middle of the night - 4am - (as well as during the day?). If you get the fax, it's 'hot stocks on the street' with bogus claims, tips, etc. Also, "Panther Marketing Inc." is also sited on the 'fax'.

Looks like your fax number has gotten out to the spammers. For some reason, I have had my fax number for years, but haven't been hit with anything like this, but I have seen other people who have been less fortunate. I'm lucky. You have a couple options, change your phone number, or forward your faxes to an email service so that you're not wasting ribbon/paper each time it happens.

The FCC has a little article about these faxes - Unwanted Faxes: What You Can Do. Let the Feds take 'em out!
If you have received an unsolicited fax or received a fax from someone who does not have a business relationship with you or who has not received your prior express permission, you may file a complaint by completing the FCC’s on-line Consumer Complaint Form at: www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints.html, or by calling the FCC’s Consumer Center at 1-888-CALL-FCC (1-888-225-5322) voice or 1-888-TELL-FCC (1-888-835- 5322) TTY.

or turn it off at night

Can't turn off the phone at night as it's in my home and is not only a fax, but a phone line. I filled a complaint with the FCC, let's see if this stops.

It's awful, wakes the whole family up at 4-4:30 in the morning....

Anyway, I traced some of it back to 'christianet.com' . Not a very 'christian' thing for them to be doing......I guess that's just a guise for spammers...

Thanks for the advice! :)

Hmm....i got a fax at my work about hot stocks too, i disregarded it at the time, thinking it was something important for an employee, but apparently not.

re: middle of the night faxes

Yes. I got this fax as well.
About three weeks ago I received a very
similar fax FOUR TIMES! It was Asian Stock something or other.
The similarity is unmistakable
and the 800 number to get removed from the list
never works
Is there anything that can be done about this?

i have them waiting for me all the time when i get to work in the am. most of them have a # on them somewhere that you can call and they will supposedly remove your # from their list.
