Why does the description say it's an LCD? This is clearly a rear projection TV, right? Oh, and about it having an "ultra thin frame." I don't think most people would consider a depth of about two feet to be "ultra thin." Not these days. I guess it's a good deal though if having the absolute biggest screen is the most important thing to you. If you can live with a TV that weighs 154 pounds. At least I know why they call it the 737 Series!

82" Holy Cow! For us non-diagonally inclined people, what is that width/length? anyone?
 
The ultra-thin frame refers to the amount of frame around the screen as you see it from the front, not the cabinet size. That way you see more screen while watching TV than you see plastic surrounding the screen.

The specs on the 6Ave page show the dimensions as:
48.5" Height x 73.2" Width x 22.7" Depth, Weight 154.4 lb

So it's about 4 feet tall, 6 feet wide, and 2 feet deep. Truly a monster, but still a whole lot smaller and lighter for it's screen size than rear-projection TVs of 10 years ago. Can you imagine what LCD TVs are going to be like 10 years from now? We'll probably have models this size that are half an inch thick, weigh very little, and cost less. Makes you wonder what will be available in home entertainment in 25, 50 or 100 years. Stuff we can't even fathom yet, no doubt. Seems like technological advancement is getting faster and faster.
