Mother's Day Gift??

aww .. that is sweet. I took the easier way out.. and I drew a picture for her. She seems to like my drawings.. although.. she could just be being nice. =/

i made her a clay handprint, but the circle wasn't big enough , so it's more of a palm print. think she'll like it? :15:

For my mom... hmmm... I was thinking of a new water heater or like a vacuum cleaner.. but I guess that's not really a mother's day gift.

A way to thank mom.. hmmm... Beautiful gift though MrGovernator!
 
i think i would NIX those presents.. Please don't be an insensitive gift giving statistic LOL ok.. i'm just kididng.. half way.... usually people want gifts to be something that they want that they wouldn't normally buy themselves. Not something that needs to be replaced or could (even potentially) clean the house. IMHO
 
My mom could not cook to save her life. So I got some hot pads in her favorite color, and painted "I love Mom" with sparkly things and beads. She'll love it, and never use them, which is exactly the way it should be.
 
I got the crystal today, it looks pretty big in the pic..... well, its kinda expensive for its size.
 
I'm kinda ashamed, but I got my mom the "Mother" glass frame that lillian vernon (?) had a while back. It came to like $1 shipped thanks to their coupon error ($15 off any purchase (even after S/H)). I got a nice picture of me and my sister and put it in there, and ordered it engraved with something like "Love K & K" (me and my fiancee).

Since my mom and other family members say I am their "Erma Bombeck", I am compiling some cards to carry in her wallet with some of my "adventures" for her future chuckling pleasure.

I know some of these "adventures" will have to be put in a small handbook. I bet she never forgets where she got her grays from.

Not like I'm admitting to any mischeif making in my younger days. ;)
 
My mom hasn't spoken to me in 3 years, therefore she isn't getting crap :D

I have been so busy with other things that I didn't realize that Mother's Day will be here soon. I know I will be getting my mother a card but I am not sure what else yet. Maybe some flowers. :)
 
I won a crystal in the Swarvoski contest last Christmas. It's beautiful - an ornament with many stars. My Mom wouldn't like it though, or I don't think she would. She's tough to buy anything for. :confused:
