Motorola IMfree Wireless Instant Messenger FAR + $8 Ship

I have one of these units that I purchased a long time ago for $40, and it's pretty good. There is no backlight, so the screen can be very hard to read at times, but the keyboard is responsive once you get used to it and overall, it's not a bad toy, especially for $8. Battery life is fairly good. My sister is using it now. I would get another one, I just don't feel like dealing with more TigerDirect rebate hassles, although I think they've improved lately.
 
Too bad you have to be at home for this thing to work. Anyone know of a pager deal right now or something like it? My wife dropped her pager and it's dead. Thanks.
