Well after waiting ever so patiently,I finally got the results from my MRI and X-ray of my neck.I am happy to say that my blood work came out fine and therefore I am not diabetic.
The MRI and X-ray did show I have arthritis in my neck plus I have two bulging discs that are the source of my pain. Now my doctor wants me to go to pain management.Fine.But he said because of my pain, they would give me an epidural between the discs in my neck.Whoa....halt!!!Ok after having 3 babies,I know how huge that needle is and it doesn't sound like too much fun on my part.So now I am waiting on this.In the mean time I have been cleared to return to work, with restrictions:No lifting or pulling. But I am in limbo.
The papers from my employer still need to be filled out by my physician so I can have proper documents in my work file that say I have permanent restrictions before I can return.
It is a burden not being able to work, especially during the Christmas holiday. My husband is our sole provider and therefore we cannot afford Christmas shopping this year.It bites. But wish me luck with my pain in the neck folks.I'll be needing some.
