My Mothers Day gift.

I just had to share this. I received this from my 7 old today because she had to give me the plant that came with this so it didn't parish.

On this poster she made me is a little area where the kids had to fill in the blanks.

My mom is the best.
She is 60 years old.
She weighs 100 pounds.
She is 9 feet tall.
She loves to read.
All day long, she works.

Looking at the numbers she used, I was not sure whether to laugh or cry. When I asked her what the height meant, she said it was because I was important. Now that made my day.

A couple of years ago, my oldest child did one of those...One of the items said: My mom loves _______. He wrote in "me." I can tell you that it doesn't get much better than that!

i feel kinda lonely this mother's day I have my 3 boys but they are 6,4,2! my husband is working in louisianna (im in florida) and he wasn't able to be here or to get me anything. but my 6 yr old made me a card in school and gave it to me today (he said he couldn't wait anymore) it says: MOM
everyday my love for you GROWS happy mother's day love matthew. that made my day better but i am still a little sad

Sorry your day wasn't great tedebear. Maybe your husband can make it up to you when he gets home?! Mine leaves tomorrow for Texas for a week (I'm in NC) so I'm a little sad too. It's our first time away from each other for that long, and I'll be feeling your pain! Hope your day wasn't too bad!

My 7 year old gave me the card he made for me today. He wrote:
