This isn't really a freebie, but it's something you should take the couple minutes to do. Pennsylvania was the first state to come out with this, and it has worked WONDERS since I started, cutting my telemarketing calls by at least half. If you get a lot of them, this should really help you. Note that right now, the site is bogged down so you may have to way a day or so to get through, but it's really worth it. It was just launched nationally recently.

What happens if they call? Can we sue? But what do we get if we sue?!

If it calls and you believe it is an unauthorized call, you can file a complaint using the website and the company will be fined up to $11,000 per call if they are investigated because lots of complaints have been made.
