I noticed it appears that when they dont sell many they lower the price. Then when people start buying raise it.
 
Shipping is not free if you add Mouse!!!

It is a trick!! So be ready to pay $4.97 for shipping mouse!!!
 
If you take out the mouse, the shipping is free. And who wants a non-free free mouse??
 
I purchased one this morning and it said I had to purchase as a combo with the mouse free but it for some reason charged 4.99 for shipping. The total came out to be close to $45.00. Afterwards I tried it again and the drive was by itself (not a combo) at the spoofee price and this time after I placed it into the cart the shipping was free. Still not bad at 45 but I would like to have saved 5 bucks.
 
The site still shows the deal (although the text says expires Aug 24), so I put one in my cart and submitted. It says I got it shipped for $40.99.

Perhaps he wanted to know how they were different "functionally"?

They are likely identical except for the color. These days, black commands a small premium. Check around you'll find otherwise identical monitors differing in color - the black ones are more $$
 
One can burn DVD-R DL and one can't (or maybe it was DVD+R DL)

Just wanted to say this drive is fabulous.. I got it from newegg a few weeks ago, when a similar good deal was on spoofee then.

Works excellent
 
I just ordered it. But also, theres a combo item, 25 DVD-R FREE with purchases..

The only catch is that shipping is not then. I paid 43.99 out the door for the drive and 25 dvd-R.s NOT A BAD DEAL!

No this deal is a trip I order the same 2 weeks ago for 39.99 ship with free mouse and now they lowered but the price but they charge 2 bucks for shipping .New Egg is hella strange.
