Hello fellow Spoofeer's. A friend of mine is starting a small office. He is in need of 4 or 5 PC's. What would anyone recommened as a great place to get these PC's. Since this is a start up of a new company cost is a big factor but I would like to refer him someplace nice like if DELL offered a small business hook up that would also give hime pc support for a low price. Or if a place like Fry's would do a discount if you got 4 or 5 pc's. I am also looking to learn from people that may have gone down this road before and has a list of DONT's. I would really like to hear all the advise. Thanks.... :hmm:

I would say go with Dell. My buddy purchased 4 PC for his business from them and they gave him a pretty good deal. Does he need all the bells and whistles or just someting like a server?

Fry's won't give you ****... Dell has a Small Business section which often has lower prices then their Consumer section. I'm not too sure if you have to have a Tax ID number tho. But I'd try Dell for sure, at least for comparison reasons.. If you have a Tax ID number, you should also look into buying a quanity of parts and just building each system. Could be cheaper, but you won't have an 800 tech line (for all that its worth anyhow).. Depends on what they're used for also.. If it's just Office apps, simple is best. Don't need the greatest cpu, or vid card, or any extra hoopla.. If it's for 3D or CAD, then your views go another way.. I do this and more freelance for a living, so lemme know if ya need anything.. ;)

I can get you the computers you need. I work for CompUSA and I am a business sales rep. I can pretty much get my hands on anything and get computers custom built and ship them directy to you for free. If you want to talk about what you are looking for, post a reply or e-mail me directly and we can work out a solution and deal for you. 99% of the time I can beat Dell. Here is my e-mail: [email protected]

build your own. I built 4 pcs for my dads business. All of them cost under 300 and they are great performers. Seriously, I would just make a couple of custom built machines
