Need a deal on feather boas

My daughters birthday party is in a week and she wants a "dress up" theme I was thinking of getting some feather boas for the girls she invites over to her party,but I didn't realize how hard they are to find in the stores and how much they are.Does anyone know of anywhere that I might find them for no more then say $3. each??? Even if it's sold as yardage somewhere??
 
I don't know where you're from, but do you have a Bartz party supply or even any craft stores? Or try Oriental trading company, or U.S. Toy Company. They have tons of stuff at cheap prices, sometimes they run shipping specials. Both are on line. I get their catalogs I can give you info on Oriental- 800-228-2269 or www.orientaltrading.com. U.S. Toy has a few stores but only in a few states.

Thanks for the great suggestions ,I had already tried joanns and oriental trading,the least expensive I've been able to come up with has been about $5 each not factoring in any shipping costs and for at least 12 girls to buy for that's out of our one income budget . I'll have to come up with some other idea. I wasn't at all expecting my daughter to pick this as a theme(she's turning 12) and was soo excited that she wanted a theme that's still so"kid"like(not like her at all) I thought the boas would have been fun for them, I usualy don't wait till the last minute like this,and that gives me more time to prepare and find better deals.o well live and learn Thanks again!!! Thanks soo much for the info. That is a GREAT deal on them.I am worried about not getting them on time so ,I have decided to just get the birthday girl one at Micheal's craft store with the 40% off coupon in thier weekly flier and then we're going to have the guests paint and decorate their own"princess and or diva" t shirts(husband actualy came up with the idea) bought them all white tshirts that were from opened packages of t shirts at our A J Wright store for .50 each(can't beat that) we're gonna dye them pink of course lol and then have them paint them and glitz them up.Thanks again!!!
 
Don't forget your local Thrift store for party things and you can always ask on craigslist.org for left over party items and anything related to themes.

Just thought I would post that is case anyone else is having a party soon.
Your party sounds super fun and I love the T-shirt ideas
