Need a good, cheap laptop

I missed the Staples deal. Now the HP BTO laptop price has gone up by a $100, the $100 Staples rebate has expired and they tack on a $75 shipping charge. Any one know of any new deals on a P4 laptop with 256MB?

What's your spending range for the laptop?

I know of a person who can get you an Alienware system for literally half the price of the ones listed on the Alienware.com website.

For those of you who don't know, Alienware "laptops" are better known as "desktop replacements" because of the unparalleled speed and quality of the parts.

For instance I got the following laptop for very cheap:
Alienware Area-51m
P4 3.06GHz w/ Hyper Threading
1024MB DDR RAM
ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 Series Graphic Accelerator with 128MB VRAM
DVD-RW Drive
UXGA large display
4 USB 2/Firewire/S-Video/etc.
And a whole bunch of other features!

too much, i had a dream where I bought a 1.1 gighz p3 labtop for $40 I mean it's only a 1.1 but hell it was $40 hahha.. nice dream...

Get P4-M technology or PM technology... more worth it.
