Need help with Sony Connect

Recently, there have been many posts for free downloads from Sony Connect. It was working fine for me until about a week ago, and now it looks like this

I can't click on anything with an X and I can't add promotion codes. Can anyone help? Thanks.

i recall it looked like that for me at first too, but for some reason, after downloading the latest version of the program, the problem just seemed to go away on its own.

try to see if your problem is listed here (i looked through their faq's & none seemed to match your problem =(

on the top of that page is a link to contact customer service. hopefully they'll have an answer for you about this.

go to the sony connect web page using gopal's link or the link i posted in my reply to you, the potential solution to your problem should be there (i hope it works for ya! )

Finally, found a fix for the constant errors i was getting while trying to launch the program - a patch that needs to be downloaded from microsoft for winxp computers. For more details, go to

- on the RIGHT SIDE you have "Get your fix for the “omgjbox.exe error”
Recent updates from Microsoft have caused incompatibility issues with jukebox players like SonicStage® and will prohibit the program from opening. An easy fix is now available. Get it now."

*This program is not necessary for computers that have Windows XP Service Pack 2.

Thanks for trying, but I already had service pack 2. I think i'll just see if time can fix it.
