I can remember the first time that I heard about this when I was a little girl (like 5-6ish). My Aunt was giving the recipe to my mom and telling her the story. When we got home, my older sister tried to make the recipe. It made a HUGE amount of cookies, assumably to make for a lot to sell at the store. I LOVED IT!
