why thank you, im on linux, but im not on mozilla or anything, im trying to do this wierd terminal thing that my friend does, its cool, but i guess im not special enough

This evening, I went to the local Fry's to pick up some of these routers. I noticed that the price for the router was $60 in-store, not the $40 as advertised online. After speaking with a sales rep, I was told that the online price will not be honoured in the store and it is an online-only price.

So, purchasing the router on-line means you have to pay shipping and may have to pay taxes. The cheapest shipping option is about $5. Tax is also applied depending on which state you live in.

Still, for under $8 or so, Netgear makes a great router. I'd go for it if I didn't already have three unused ones in my house. :o

Except tech support is in India....

Outpost just buys odd stuff from manf's with NO return. Then put up for sale cheap. Then they state you pay shipping both ways. So, if you get crap, you have to pay to ship it back & don't get a refund on shipping to you. Then they put it back up for sale again. They do this again & again until it's not returned. Anyway, that's what I allege since I did order from them ONCE.

Linksys and others are also in India as well. I don't think I've found one networking company that's actually in America.

Even my AT&T Wireless cell phone's support is going to India, for warranty exchange at least. At least they keep the real customer service reps in America. However, I just did a warranty exchange and was talking to someone in India, but they were able to speak English well at least.

Ah yes, didn't even notice the default $11 shipping option the picked for me, wonderful...
