I also want one, but only for that Brain Age game. I really don't want to spend over $100 just to play that one game.

I picked up a used one at EB games with an accessories pack for $100 total. The system by itself was only $89.

does anyone know the capabilities of the ds lite? i heard that you were able to send messages to another ds even if they were across the country.

Yea it can send messages, but only with games that support it. The DS alone can't do it. I know it can with Final Fantasy III. It has picto chat for close range local DS messaging.
