It's too bad that the picture is blurry as you zoom in. I can't make out where someone would think the ark would be located...

I saw the Discovery Channel special about this. I think it's an interesting concept, but in my humble opinion, unless the wood "petrified" in some way, there is no way the wood could have survived *thousands* of years.

did you know that america was a british penal colony before australia? 1 of 4 new residents in america in the 18th century was a convict. thats why there are so many freaks and rednecks here. how come the ostriches didnt take the greyhound with the convicts over to america?

I do believe it's there. When my daughter was in 5th grade they were learning about the countries over there and I found a bunch of stuff on the web about it, from american soldiers to russian soldiers to citizens who had taken photos. Most were "lost" or confiscated by the government. Here's a link I was just looking at, but all you have to do is search ark on mt ararat and you get tons of sites

Where do you come up with this? They brought along livestock......duplicates, as it were....they also bred (nothing else to do on the ship ;) ) :) What did you think they starved and fought over the olive branch? BTW..did you figure out what all the other animals ate? i.e. giraffes, emus, gerbils, etc.
