First post here....Why is it that when I click on the "free goods" tab at the top of the site, I am brought to the forums? Is that how it works?
Just curious about this.
 
it takes you to the "freebies" forum... so you can choose which one(s) you want!
 
Did you expect every freebie to be sent to you automatically just by clicking on it? :worry:

No, Big Daddy, I didn expect that, but...Why have a tab that says free goods, when all it does is take to a different part of the site? thats all:teeth:

Welcome! That tab just takes you to the forum where "Free Goods" notices are posted so you can look through them and sign up for the ones you're interested in.

So that when youre looking for the freebies (a very popular section here) you just click that tab instead of clicking the community tab, and then scrolling, and finding, and clicking the free goods link. Its strictly for convenience. But if it bothers you, please, feel free to navigate to the free goods forums any way you like. There are exits at the rear of the thread, and one in the middle. Please be advised that you may be called upon to move your post so others may access the exits..
 
Hi Steve! And a warm welcome to Spoofee! I am not sure if I can add any light to what has been posted. But, don't forget to check out the areas such as "Hot Deals," "Coupons" etc! There may be something of interest to you in such sections. Have fun, and, enjoy the forums!

It's put in forum style so that freebies can be added everyday by members and moderators alike. This site has a ton of freebies and you can see that the set up brings in posts everyday, if they were all listed on one page this would be a one man show, with a lot of people out there looking for freebies it just makes sense to have a forum. You obviously found this forum for off topic and now you are getting help, same with the freebie forum, members can get help from others if there is a question or problem with a freebie, honestly all freebie sites are set up different and they all work, so I always say, If it ain't broke, no need in fixin it.
 
I think there should be a tab for "Off Topic Discussion & General Questions" because I think that's the most interesting part of Spoofee land.
