This woman in my state had the best find I have ever heard of. Sears.com made a price mistake and listed a fridge for $9.99 vs its actual $999.99 price on their site. She bought 5!!! God I wish she was a member of spoofee! :p

And someone at Sears probably lost a job over an honest mistake too.

Did she actually get the products? Almost all businesses cover themselves with a blanket "typo" disclaimer. This one is from Sears.com.

Sears reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders containing any error, inaccuracy or omission, whether or not the order has been submitted, confirmed and/or your credit card has been charged.

The women was from Connecticut so this is local news. They said there were many orders at that price but Sears cancelled them all. They showed the women on the news with her email receipt saying she was taking it to court and the consumer protection agency. People are ridiculous sometimes.

Cant believe SEARS didnt catch that error--then again, a fast food worker months ago cashed a $200 bill with George Bush on the bill.

Bought 5? Did she get an extra discount because she got the party pack? :D

However, I can beat that! My parents got a free fridge from Lechmere. My parents tried to explain that they didn't order it, hadn't paid for it, wouldn't pay for it, but Lechmere insisted on shipping it.

$0 for a brand new fridge. Sadly, I doubt that you could get a pricematch on that. LOL Lechmere is no longer in business. That is no surprise! :D
