Office Depot - Printable $20 off $75 Coupon

Read the fine print

Of all the stores Office Depot is by far the worst when it comes to coupons. If you read the fine print you cannot use the coupon on technology items. As for what falls under the label of technology items is left up to the post high school cashier. If you want $75.00 worth of copier paper this is a good deal if you are looking for a hard drive or memory look elsewhere. This is nothing more than a bait and switch to get you into the store. Beware of Office Depot when it comes to coupons, stocking sales items and advertised specials. If you look at Staples and Office Max you do not see the same resitrictions in place as far as coupons. I am sorry to harp on Office Depot so much they used to be a good company. I have had too many instances with the Office Depot and when I send a complaint to customer support I never get a response. This is just my experience here in South Florida. I hope others have had better experiences.

It all depends on which Office Depot you go to. The one by where I used to live never required the coupon or cared about those restrictions, but the one I live by now is a bit more strict. It also depends who is working.

Office Max and Staples both have restrictions on their coupons, but it's just a bit more rare (as are their coupons). It all depends on what you're buying, but everyone needs office supplies every once in a while.

I understand

I understand that we all need office supplies sometimes but how many of us are going to be purchasing $75.00 worth of supplies? I just went to Office Depot last week and I could not even find enough supplies that I actually needed to reach $50.00 to take advantage of a $10.00 off coupon. I guess the point I am trying to make is that the restrictions on the coupons are both vague and unreasonable. If Office Depot was an honest company they would stipulate that the coupons were only for office supplies which they don't the coupons just vaguely state some items. I have personally given up on Office Depot and if they do have a special I will sooner go elsewhere and try to price match the item then give Office Depot the business. As you probably can tell this is a sore point with me but I really get annoyed at companies that try to take advantage of people ignorance.
