OM Rebate Number Not In Service No More

well here's my rebate problem story. i had a rebate back in june for 256MB DDR for $20 from OM. i still haven't gotten it. i called back like in Oct. and the CS was like they have sent it out. they can't send another one out until the sent check is void which is like around Dec. They said if i hadn't received it then, which is not, i can call back and they'll send me another one. now, i tried calling them back...but guess wat? the phone number doesn't exist no more. well, here's their contact info:

How to reach a live CSR:
800-477-3314, wait for choices
press 2, then wait for choices
press 2, wait
press 1 to confirm your phone #, machine may tell you that it has you info (or not!)
then it'll say press (I forget what) to end call - don't do it - then it'll say press 6 to speak to someone


You WILL need the rebate tracking number for this submission so they can look it up in the system.

Incidentally, Parago is Parago, one number is for all intents as good as another, keep that in mind in the future. You can just call them up using whatever number comes off their current officemax cash offers rebate form.
 
As of today, when you call their number, first you get put on hold, then a message telling you to leave a message, then a message telling you all mailboxes are full! You can call Office Max direct, they are unlisted so call your local OM to patch you through or get a number out of them. If you get through ask for customer service. There isn't a single good rebate store any more. Time for some new regulations.

The directions basically hold true for any Parago (rebateshq.com) telephone number. Try one of the numbers listed on the newer officemax rebate forms or pretty darn near any rebateshq.com number. Rebateshq retires older numbers so you try a new one, it's that simple.

The second one is a little more officemaxy but they are still both parago, had to use the 1877 number just tonight and it worked.
 
I gave up on the rebate tele numbers and called OM direct; asked for customer service. Customer service connected me to rebates. Supposedly I will now be getting my 50.00 after I told them I had proof (delivery confirmation) that my submissions were sent. Told them I would send copies directly to OM but the rep said never mind. We shall see.
 
The online sites are useless for older rebates and some newer. IF you don't have a tracking number or the telephone rep gave you a false one, you're lost to the system. 216 921-6900 ask for customer service or fax to 216 471-4040. Those are OM's corporate numbers but if the rebate is large enough, it's worth bugging them

Ya do know that easierrebates is a completely DIFFERENT rebate processor from Parago, who is the company rebateshq.com and maxmyrebates.com.

Easierrebates is a competitor to Parago, calling them about a rebate handled by Parago or vice versa would get you nowhere.

Im just suggesting they try those sites to search for rebates.

I did & found mine from Oct 2003 saying I needed to submit an invoice (wish they told me that before). Odd thing was, all my Ace rebates were there too.
