How has your experience been with outpost rebates?


I am particularly concerned about the Seagate/outpost rebate.

if you go to order the item, it doesn't says backordered or anything, however after you have ordered, the next day it shows in your order status as backordered. now i am wondering they won't ship it until the date has expired and then they will bill/send it to me.

The last time I bought a Seagate hard drive (maybe a year ago), the rebates were handled by Parago, probably the WORST rebate company.

It took a LONG time to receive the rebates, I can't remember how long, but it could've been 6-8 months. I would call and get put on hold with no answer.

It was so long ago, I don't remember much, but I'd stay away from any Parago rebate if you can, especially if Outpost may not be getting the hard drive out quickly.

yeah the yare a little slow, I never base by income on rebates, but thiink of them as gifts when i receive them.
