'p' in upper-left corner of screen

Every time I open a thread, I get the letter 'p' in the upper-left hand side of the screen. I reviewed the source code and found this entry:

Also, now I get a condensed thread viewer at the top of each thread...I can't think of another way to put it. Is this something new?
 
Maybe if I click on it 46,728 times I will win a prize....
 
Yeah, the moderators noticed this too and we let Spoofee know so it should be fixed soon.

i think i know what you're describing, spazntwitch. also just discovered it recently myself.

view any thread in the forums section, and on the right hand side, under "log in/out", you should see "display modes". the mode i think you're referring to is the "threaded mode".

if you want to switch back to viewing only the posts and not the thread summary, then click on "display modes" & select "switch to linear mode".

if you want to see both the thread summary & all the posts, then select "switch to hybrid mode"
