Page set up

I know this isn't facebook, but on facebook you can set up your page so no one can read anything you post unless they are your friend.

Is there any chance of doing that here? It would be nice to keep things more private (I know there are PM's) and keep out the people that are not your friends or the people that eep: sneak in and are invisible.


:idea: Or just keep out people that are invisible, so you will know who is lurking around your page.

Visitor Messaging:
This forum features a visitor messaging system that allows members to send messages to one another publicly.

If you do not want to receive visitor messages, you may disable the visitor messaging system.

Enable Visitor Messaging

There are boxes to check or uncheck for these:
*You may limit the usage of your visitor messages to just moderators and your contacts.

*Limit usage of Visitor Messages to Contacts and Moderators.

dbee...I've been around these pages for a few years and rarely get involved in the "serious" discussions threads, but you caught me without caffeine (or bourbon).

This is not a site designed for "personal use" or exclusion.

My advice would be for you to keep in mind that if you are going to post something here for all to see, be prepared for those of us who have a difference of opinion to let you know that we don't agree. If your feelings are going to be hurt by someone who has a different opinion or view of an issue, then this site is not the place you want to post those types of comments.
