I feel so bad for her just as a person. So violated.

Agreed. But I was thinking the leaders will have better secured emails, unlike common folks.

Yes... espcially since she is such a huge target right now.

They do. But the article implies Ms. Palin chose to use yahoo! for official Alaska business instead. Knowing what little we know about her, it's not really out of character.

She is a horrible choice for VP. I can tell you that much. But it is awful that her email got hacked. I would not like that.

LOL.she had yahoo? r u serious? umm dont they ( politicians, gov. ) have their own system

on the other hand, damn!! I kno she feel so "exposed" i would be pissed!

Just for my own morbid curiosity, can you tell us why she's a horrible choice?

Hey, I'm not going to attack, I'm truly curious as to what's behind her conviction on this subject.

By the way, I consider the quote in my signature a negative statement on those who call themselves conservatives in public office, and the Latin phrase in my 'Location' is a comment on the news stories I see every day.

un/fortunately this is only show I watch on TV

First it was those "Anonymous" a-holes that did it. If there is something that they don't like or that they can do illegally on the Internet they are for it. They are cyber-terroists forcing their views on others.

As to why I don't like Palin (who my wife does like BTW) I think she is too radical and convinced in the unequivocal correctness of her extreme right wing ideas. As we know I am a Centrist so have a Centrist view of abortion. I could be wrong. She has a right wing view of abortion and I don't believe she would ever think that she could be wrong. We need a politician, not someone who will or even might force their beliefs on others.

why is someone's opinion about abortion enough to judge them?

Right there with you (I mean Left).

I do not think someone's opinion re:abortion is a reason to judge....however, when someone is going to be in a position that could possibly influence legislation regarding personal choice it is an issue that bears discussing. I personally would never have an abortion....but as an American woman in the 21st century I was able to choose that for myself. But as the mother of a daughter, I feel so, so strongly that I never, EVER want a LAW determing what my daughter will be able to do with her own body in the future. That would be such a huge step backward for the empowerment of women.

okay, but do you really think that roe v. wade can be overturned by a vice president with a personal opinion?

Try to look at it as a generic 'issue'. She has a position. She has convinced her children to adopt her position. She has made difficult, life altering decisions that show a conviction to that position. That's commonly called having the courage of one's conviction.
Now, whether the issue is abortion, tax policy, energy, etc., etc., there are VERY few politicians that have that level of courage of conviction.

As far as influencing legislation, there have been quite a few anti-abortion presidents and vice presidents since Roe v. Wade. I haven't seen the ruling overturned.

I agree. Her views are are extremely conservative. McCain is the oldest person to ever run for president and the thought of this woman being president scares me.
