Love this TV!

This is an awesome deal!

I own this same Panasonic Viera, and it gives a great picture, that only a plasma can give... the only LCD that comes close to this black level and off-angle viewing in this size is 3x the price.

I would only stay away from this plasma if you **predominately** play XBOX and PS3 games, as image-retention can be an issue in these cases. If you use it to watch TV and moves, too, then the moving images will wipe away any faint retained images from static game display items.

I watch 90% HD-TV and Blu-Rays (Beautiful!!!), and 10% PS3/Xbox. I don't have any burn-in, but if you play 90% games, you may have some image-retention issues.

There is a thread on avsforum.com to learn how to "tweak" the color settings/contrast/brightness, and even the secret "service menu" to get absolutely dazzling realistic cinema quality from this television.
