PaperBackSwap

I did a search and couldn't find this posted previously. The site says the first three books are free. All they seem to ask is that you post books to swap as well, and that you pay postage when you send out books for a swap.

I Love PBS. I have been a member for over a year. I highly recommend it. :bigok:

Thanks this looks very interesting! I think I'm going to like this site!

I have been a member for a while and love it. I have swapped so many books. It is great. All you pay for is postage. :bigok:

This is a great site, but you need to pay close attention.. You're books are listed to go out in the order you put them in. It is a good idea to put newer books in first so they will be requested first.

Never mind, my questions were answered. :)

I've been a member for a while, and I've always had a good experience.

If you like the idea of paperback swap, check out their sister site at http://www.swapacd.com. Same concept. And, of course, some cd's get broken by the USPS in transit, and they have a system in place to deal with that. There have been some rumors that they will be starting up a dvd swap soon.....

This seems very similar to makeupalley, which I have been a part of for almost 4 years. Check it out:)

Makeup swap? Yuck! I wouldn't trust used makeup.

this site is awesome, thanks for the tip!!

I've been a member for quite some time now and I'm always receiving books in the mail. It's great! If you don't like the book you can always repost it and they have a great variety to choose from.

My boyfriend and I have a joint account on a similar site called BookMooch.com.
I also know of another site that includes CDs, DVDs, comic books, etc., besides books--just basically all media forms. It's TitleTrader.com

www.swaptree.com is the newest swap site. I saw it on the news, its all kinds of media. You list your 'wants' and what you have to offer and it matches you up so you don't have to search around.

I love Paperback Swap. I have also been a member for over a year and I am very happy. They also have a CD swap, and just because the name is paperback, does not mean that is all they swap. They also have hardcovers, books on tape, etc. They also have a "waiting list" and you can put books you want on it, then as soon as someone posts it, you get an e-mail alert so you can order it.
