Parents Beware: The Real Meaning of Soulja Boy's 'Superman

Have you ever really listened to that Crank Dat Soulja Boy song?

A lot of people even learned the dance to the song (including myself). :ohwell:

But, if you really listen to the song, you will never really want to listen to it again. bleugh

Here is a story if you want to learn more: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/448122/parents_beware_the_real_meaning_of.html

And, if you have never heard of this song:

Never heard the song before. Our family is still listening to Wiggles so THANK GOD that I don't have to deal with this stuff yet.

First of all... GROSS!

But... on the flip side... at least he's not advocating rape...

cant understand it..........

I guess i cant hear that well anymore, all i heard was a bunch of phrases that didnt make any sense, and the whole song wasnt done very well to start with....:noidea:

okay i'm gonna have to disagree with you on this one. if a guy *ahem* finishes his business with an unwilling party... like a girl who's passed out at a party... whether it's in her or on her body, i think it still qualifies as rape, or at least sexual assault.

Merriam-Webster's Dictionary of Law said:
rape: unlawful sexual activity and usually sexual intercourse carried out forcibly or under threat of injury against the will usually of a female or with a person who is beneath a certain age or incapable of valid consent because of mental illness, mental deficiency, intoxication, unconsciousness, or deception

Propelissa, I just wanted to say that you seem mature for your age, and thank you for sharing this with all the parents here @ Spoofee!

Kudos to you! :bigok:

I second that! :) :bigok:

Thanks for the info propelissa! I have heard this song before through my children but I never could understand what he was saying. Needless to say there is another song/artist that is on my ban list that I will not allow my children to listen to. My list keeps getting longer and longer.
