PC Magazine Subscription

Weird, I thought I posted this before.
 
Sorry, you may have. I did a search on all of these magazines I posted but it did not find any previous posts, must have been due to the upgrade. So if I duplicated any previous posts, that is the reson why

question: after one year, will they keep sending the magazines and start billing? or automatically stop?
 
If they don't have any information to bill you with, they can't bill you. I also doubt they send notices, but don't be surprised if they may, but just ignore it. It'll go away.

With the last issue they send a card you can fill out to resubscribe, for a fee. Other than that nothing else happens.

I have been doing this as long as most of you and have never had a problem ... after the year or 2 they just stop ... Unless you find a new free one and keep it going.

What did everyone put in for purchase date and store? Is Barnes and Noble good enough and December 26, 2003 or do we have to buy it from PC Mag direct?

you do get a confirmation sent to the email you gave. if you use hotmail, and you made the proper settings to your email account, you should get it in your junk mail folder. i have 4 email addys and the one i gave is of course for stupid sh-t junk mail. comes in handy! :D :D :D
 
Last time I got a free sub to one of the ZDMirc's I opted for the digital (big mistake, it just ain't the same as the good ol' paper copy, and that coming from a real geek) and I just kept deleting the notifications in my inbox and forgot I had the sub. My dad started wondering where these bills from pcmag were coming from and I couldn't remember. So I checked my junk folder a while later and found all the notifications, they were still sending the magazine, but because there wasn't a way to tell them I wanted to go back to print I'd complete forgotten about them, and so I went ahead and just told them to unsubscribe me...

All that to say, yea they bill, but they don't stop sending just because you don't pay, and opt for the solid paper version, it's much better
 
I did select Paper. I gave a Yahoo address, but did not get anything confirmed yet. I also do not have a junk filter on Yahoo, so I should have gotten something. How long does it take before I should expect a notice?

you should have already gotten a confirmation email. unless you accidentally deleted it. usually, after you're all done doing that survey bullsh-t, it should say the address the magazine is gonna be sent at. if you are unsure about wether or not you are gonna get it, do the whole sh-t again
 
Well, I just sent it in again. I will see when/if I get a reply.

Also, I just had this one form (when I clicked the link) and gave them my info. When done, it said my subscription was entered, but did not repeat my info.

all you have to do now is wait! be patient! it will come within 4-6 weeks. ;)
