this is info posted by the atgig.com site administrator "As for rules, no porn, no illegal files, no remote hosting (tossing a huge file on the server, and massively leeching from a different site)

We encourage all users to sign up at our forums. And to purchase paid hosting if you can afford it (support atgig!)

And the sky is the limit on what you can do with your space..."

i looked around the site, and didn't see any specific info re your question, but i think you could ask that and any other Q's to the site admin in their forums section. =)

Looks to me like the free version includes some advertising (maybe pop-ups?) on your site. Has anyone signed up yet that can give us the scoop?

well, i just signed up. posted nothing though. but all it has is a plain txt welcoming you to the site. and two boxes underneath the welcoming.

no remote hosting? darn, i need that so that I can upload music and stuff to play on my tempoary web site...

Someone pls post here when they get a proper site operational. I signed up for a FREE account w/ 1&1 Hosting a while back, but it was so userfriendly that I couldn't figure it out. JUST GIVE ME FTP ACCESS DAMN YOU ALL!!!!!! sorry.

How would you have 1GB account without FTP access?

MexIndian, what's the problem with your 1&1? It works well for me.

MexIndian,

1&1 does offer FTP access. In fact, once you get your username and password set up, just use FireFTP in Firefox and it all works wonderfully.

lol sites already down. What a joke, maybe they were just trying to phish data?

The site was down earlier for me too when I tried to get to it. Now it is back up and running.
