:) I am looking for a phone system like the Panasonic KX-TG5433M 5.8 GHz DSS Cordless Phone with Answering System and Three Handsets. Reason being I have Vonage service and I am looking to upgrade my phone system. One phone jack and you can connect up to four wireless phone on a 5.8 Ghz network. I see this phone on amazon for around 170 bucks. Is there anyway to get this at a better deal or has anyone ever seen them give a rebate out for this phone?

Do you have a landline telephone, or two lines in your house with a free line that is not in use?

I can tell you how to hook Vonage so that you can use it from any jack in your house.

I like Uniden phones. A great 5.8GHz model is the 8865, the 8885 has an answering machine.

I do have my home wired to use all curent phone jacks with the service. The problem is that my ISP drops out ( far to much, I am hoping Verizon's FiOS will be a better solution) and the phone get a lot of static. I have expiramented by only plugging in two phones into the jack directly. This seems to work better for me. That is why I am thinking of doing the phone network system. Hopefully that will get me by until Fiber becomes available in my area.

Interesting, so it's more of a DSL/phone wiring issue with Vonage? Seems odd.

Anyway, those are the two models to recommend. Woot had a nice sale on the 8885 system a while ago.

Thanks for the post Erik, I have read some reviews at amzon about the Uniden and there are some bad post about static lines and range issues, as for the Panasonic it is getting great reviews. So I am leaning towards the Panasonic. :) :bigok:
