Planar 19" LCD Monitor w/eTrust ISS 2006 Bundle for $169.99 (+shipping) After Rebates

TigerDirect has the Planar 19" LCD Monitor with eTrust ISS 2006 Bundle for $169.99 (+shipping) after rebates. The monitor comes with a 3-year warranty.

Pricegrabber Price : $249.00 - $349.00

1. TigerDirect Price: $299.99
2. $60 Rebate
3. $30 Rebate
4. $40 Rebate

Final Price: $169.99 + Shipping

That's a lot of rebates, but I have a Planar 17" that's great and the reason I got it was their 3 year warranty.

Thanks, spaz!

Any comments on Tigers rebates from anyone?

I had quite a few problems with TigerDirect rebates. I acutally tried contacting them once and the wouldn't help me. Could have been the exception instead of the rule but I won't buy anything else from them based on rebate prices....

I've had no problems with their rebates. I make copies of EVERYTHING before I submit, just to be safe. I have had about 5 rebates come from them without issue.

Don't buy from TigerDirect & OnRebate - scam!

Look out, don't buy from TigerDirect, it uses the OnRebate (both companies are owned by Systemax). You won't see your rebates $$ again, well, only if you are lucky.

I'm out $90 because even after I plead with them and threaten them, they still won't give me my money. All I can do now is let other know about them and hopefully you won't be so unfortunate as I.

If you don't believe me, google with "onrebate scam" or goto BBB.org (use name "onrebate" & state=FL). They have thousands of angry customers on the net, don't get sucker in. I thought I got a deal when I first purchased from them, but without the rebate, the item I got became a really bad deal. For the same money I could have gotten a brand name LCD.

I have had repeated problems with Tiger Direct on rebates. It is so bad they actually advertise on their website that they guarantee payment on the rebates provided you mail them by registered mail. You shouldn't have to pay the registered mail premium to get paid a rebate. Tiger Direct is run by a bunch of con artists. They belong in prison.

As for OnRebate, I have received rebates processed by them. My gripe is with Tiger Direct.

Just remember that TigerDirect guarantees their rebates, the only thing they don't tell you is tell guarentee that they will do nothing when onrebate rejects your rebate because their people have no idea what they are doing.

i bought some memory and other various computer parts on there and had no problems receiving the rebates at all!

Scamm

Tigerdirect rebates are a well known scam which unfortunantly i found out after buying a lcd monitor from them and not receiving the rebate. I will never purchase from tigerdirect again and will encourage everybody I know to do the same. Spoofee you should be ashamed for even allowing this crap.

I'm out $50 with Tiger "rebate"

Never got $50 rebate on Soyo motherboard. Called multiple times, registered my rebate online, copied everything before sent it...
