I bought the for $30 when it was originally posted on 2-22 and have yet to receive it. Thier free shipping is horribly slow.

Probably getting mixed up and congested with all the other HD-DVD stuff they're trying to get rid of. :-)

Just not seeing how this is such a good deal - HD DVD format is DOA. Many retailers are starting to dump their HD DVDs for around $15 or less.
 
It's not like HD DVD players are going to spontaneously combust once Blu-Ray takes over. If you have an HD player you might as well take advantage of the deals.

Is this Compatible with Blu-Ray Player?

Received the DH-DVDs yesterday and my Sony Blue Ray Player did not recoginze the DVDs. Are HD DVDs not compatible with the Sony Blue Ray DVD player?

This is correct unless you buy a unit that plays both formats...which it appears you did not.

I hear those Planet Earth shows on HD are awesome...
 
Is this really all that interesting that this specific boxed set is listed here over and over and over again? :-)
