Here is the possible loophole.
Paypal Debit Card offers 5% back on groceries
You can go to Walmart, or H-E-B or Kroger to have them print you a cashier's check for rent
Paypal *should* see transaction as a grocery purchase
You get 5% back on your rent!
There is a monthly maximum of $1000 purchase on the cashback

- Put $1000 on PayPal debit card that offers 5% cash back up to $1000 on groceries spend.
- Now go swipe that debit card at a grocery store to get a cashiers check/money order worth $1000. PayPal thinks you bought groceries since it’s swiped at a grocery store and you earn 5% cashback.
- Now use that money order to pay your rent
