Messages and wishes for the new year from people around the world will float down on the New Year's Eve revelers in Times Square when the confetti is dropped.

For the first time, anyone can get a message printed on a piece of the multicolored confetti by visiting the Times Square Information Center or by using the Internet to type a message on a "Wishing Wall Online".

Borrowed from KSL.com

This is utterly disgusting. I HATE Times Square confetti. I clean it up from the roof of my building every week for months and I thought I saw the last one a month ago. Still I found one from last year, last week, that must have still been blowing around New York!
It was one of those foil Target Store ones. :verysad: :verysad: :verysad: :verysad: :verysad:

Maybe youll get lucky and my message will fall on your roof. Youll know its from me.

Since you made me laugh it's OK. Your confetti is allowed on my roof.

In all seriousness it is such a mess. The stuff blows everywhere and onto all the rooftops. Not everyone (or possibly anyone) keeps their roof as clean and tidy as I do mine (7500 sq ft). In the streets they have a fleet of street sweeper machines. The Times Square Alliance (Businessmen Association) has their crew out there too to help clean it up. These guys are are actually great, starting at about 5am every day and cleaning up whatever got dropped on the streets and sidewalks from the day before. What they don't get right after 12 they will still get later.

Well, if you can't beat em .....

I put in my message but them I realized it's the 30th. If they are printing confetti, it's printed. I hope my message is the same as one of the printed ones so at least I can think it's mine :sus:

Oh! I read an article about this like 3 hours ago!
