Pre-Paid Cell Phones

I searched, but all the deals have expired. I'm looking for a pre-paid phone I can get for less than $20- I want one you can buy cards for, not a month-to-month plan (like liberty wireless) And I'd prefer not to have to deal with rebates. I'm scraping the bottom of my bank account as it is.

Any suggestions? I've spent 3 days doing yahoo/google/ask seaches with no luck.

This one looks like a good deal to start- You just by $20 worth of airtime (40 minutes??) and get 20 bonus minutes for activating online, and 1000 bonus minutes come with the phone. The phone is free. And not bad-looking. No activation fees, but $0.50/minute???? that's extreme.

There's a new carrier around called Net 10, I've seen it at Target and such. Seems to be a better deal than the rest at just 10 cents per minute, flat rate, anytime with no per day usage fee.

Not sure how much usage you're planning to do, or whether a plan like Cingular's GoPhone would be good or whether you just want per minute prepaid.
