The title is somewhat misleading. This isn't a "USB Drive" it's a USB Dongle. Saying it's a "drive" implies that it's a storage device. Just saying.

Outdated, yes. BUT I didn't need anything any faster so I picked up a few about 6 months ago. they work great!

Although the newer 802.11n equipment can potentially reach higher speeds with less interference, it is backwards compatible with 802.11b/g equipment, and there are times when good old 802.11b is superior. Even with the technological advancements of 802.11n, often 802.11b will work better at long range (less packet loss and such). There are a few technical reasons for this, not the least of which is that the receiver sensitivity of wireless equipment is usually much higher when in 802.11b mode. So, depending on your situation, it's quite possible that old 802.11b wireless may work best for you.

This stinks. I went to buy it and the initial page said free shipping. Then they wanted to charge $2.99 at checkout. Not going there.
