They have the "Sony PSP™ NBA / Twisted Metal™" Bundle available for pre-order on Costco right now for $319 (plus tax/shipping). They'll ship it on 3/24. It doesn't mention the Spiderman 2 movie in the package... but they're shipping it the first day, which probably means it's one of the first million units from Sony (and hence it might have Spidey 2 included).

Here's the link:

Also, some Costco stores will have the same bundle available on the 24th. I'm in Orange County (California) and know that the Costco stores in Irvine, Tustin, and Fountain Valley are getting 72 PSP bundles each on 22nd but won't be selling them until the 24th. The remaining Costco stores in the area aren't getting any. A store in LA is also getting 72 of em, but not sure. You can go to merchandise pickup and ask them. They'll look up the stores for you! A quick tip: if you have business membership, you can get in the store an hour before the rest ;)

is that really a good deal?

all the stores around here are advertising it for 249 dollars with whatever bundle comes with it.

It's not any different compared to elsewhere... but you might encounter huge lines at stores like Best Buy. At Costco, you could get in easily with your Business membership card one hour before the rest of the people.

Also, Costco has games about $5 cheaper than other stores. $49.99 games are $44.99. And $39.99 games are $36.99.

Plus Costco has a SUPER return policy. ;)

Well, Costco's come with two games, I think the others for $230-$250 do not, plus with the games being $40-$50 a piece retail, the bundle could be quite useful.

Yep. You're saving $10 on this thing. $250+$40+$40 = $330. They're charging you $320.

Incidentally, Circuit City will be giving $10 gift cards if you buy a PSP value-pack and any two games. So it comes out to be the same price-wise... and you get to choose your games. But nobody can beat Costco at return-policy :bigok:
