Question about the refrigerator I'm buying

OK, a couple of weeks ago I was looking for a deal on a refrigerator. Well I ended up ordering one from Lowes for $399 with a Home Depot coupon making it $359. It's a smaller refrigerator, I don't have room for a side by side unless we do a kitchen remodel.
Anyways my refrigerator came in yesterday and they called to tell me it was damaged during delivery to the store so I go down to look at the damage today and it's a very small dent on the top right hand side. Where I have my refrigerator the dent wouldn't be visible.
They have already put in the order for the new refrigerator so here is the options they are giving me:
30 % off the damaged refrigerator or 10% off the reordered refrigerator. Which option would you guys go with?

If its a small dent that wont even be visible, I would go with the 30% off. Good luck!

That what I was thinking. It's not my dream fridge anyways so the less I have to pay for it the better. Eventually I wanna get a side by side.

Most people would never notice anyway, and since it's not in a visible place...I'd definitely go with the 30% off!:)

That's a very spoofee answer.:p I think most of us on here would go this that option. After all is said and done I'm going to get a great deal on my new fridge.:bigok:

Just make sure the dent won't cause the refrigerator to not function properly... I'm assuming the door still opens/shuts and that the seal on the fridge is still in tact. All the components to make the fridge work are usually on the bottom and up the back, but you should make sure nothing is inside the dented area that would cause the fridge to malfunction.

If it's all good... go for the 30%!!!! That's great!

Well the salesperson at Lowes said he used to be a refrigerator repair person and it wasn't in an area where it would cause any malfunctions down the road. It really is a very small dent.

I would be a little cautious,it should be fine if it was just bumped in that corner, but if it was dropped(like our washing machine was when delivered) you could have damage on the inside that is not visible.(like we did)

It depends too what part it was. I guess you don't have a picture. They do rust you know? You don't want metal exposed so it rusts quicker.

It's on the top right hand side. It's not dented to the point where metal is exposed and the paint didn't chip. It looks almost like a small warp.

It should be okay....They are insulated, so that's probably all that affected.

Also....you should have the warranty from the manufacturer since you are purchasing this 'new'....you just need to register it. ;)
