I deal with an amazing amount of disorganized computers, and I'm talking absolute pigsties!

So I'm curious. How organized is the average computer user?

We're supposed to organize our computers too? No one told me, I didn't get the memo......:noidea:

I can teach you how. Navigate to the Systems folder, press CTRL-A, press the Delete key, and lastly press the enter key. This is a one time fix after which you won't have any more computer organization problems.

Don't really... :suspicious:

This is how I roll with my icons:

Can I change my reply?

I just spent 4 hours downloading some new tunes which led to me going through over 3,000 files and correcting any errors in the data that itunes displayed.

Ouch! I stopped using iTunes a long time ago. It actually kept rebooting my server.

:shhh: I know someone that has at least 2! :yikes: What a freak!

Oh how I wish I could stop using itunes. I really don't like it. Is there anything else that will work with an iphone?

Although, I found the same "data entry" frustrations with real jukebox/players and windows media players...

I've never used one with an iPhone before, but I have used third party software on iPods. download.cnet.com would have a list of them with ratings.

You don't have an organizing category for me. I name my files in such a way that if I can't find something (happened twice already today) I just search with what I rember for sure and thrown in a couple wild cards and I always find it.

There are other programs to manipulate iPhone music libraries. I haven't tried this but it might be what you are looking for Free iTunes alternative - Manage iPod and iPhone without iTunes
